My parents always go here and it’s now became my new favorite spot! The staff are so sweet and the menu is so unique. They always have new seasonal foods and drinks to try and the food is always delicious ugh every day is a sad day without a figgy piggy. This is not a place where you want to sit and read, but definitely a place where you and your friends can grab a few drinks! Aside from the food, the ambience of the restaurant itself is unique as well. Couches and high tops, there’s a very wide variety of seating. My family’s favorite is the couches. My only complaint is that one time my friend and I went there and the kitchen was closed. We were really bummed out, especially since she was visited. Nothing on google said anything about when they stop making food, and the kitchen closes like 2 hours before the actual restaurant so i thought that was a little odd. Other than that, it’s an absolutely amazing spot that I’ll always recommend.

We eat and patronize Local Motive very frequently and that’s for a few reasons. First, i’ve literally never had anything to eat in that place that wasn’t exceptional. And we’ve eaten almost everything on the menu. You always get really good pickles and chips with your sandwiches. My personal favorites from their menu are The Sykesville Beef, Mediterranean Chicken sandwich, their pretzel 🥨 and cheese ( which is big enough for 3 people easy)and their mezza plate with delicious olives warm pita, taziki and hummus that are just sooo good. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. And the atmosphere is warm cozy and welcoming. It’s just a great little spot. I love everyone who works there. You will love it there. If you haven’t been yet, try it. You will see what I mean. 😊

Very trendy cocktail bar located in downtown sykesville. I would recommend their dilly beans and their espresso Martini's. Their drink what you draw gumball machine is so much fun and can be a great deal for a $7 cocktail. It is perfect for a non picky adventure seeker who can't decide what to order.

This was our first time going here and this place was fantastic! We went in the evening and the atmosphere was wonderful. There were seating areas for small parties and a sofa area for a larger group. They had great music, it was busy, and it was very welcoming. We tried a couple of their mixed brinks; the pool boy, a whiskey sour, and the gold rush. We order many of them and every drink came out fantastic! We tried a few apps too. The pretzel with beer cheese witch was great, the mezza plate which tasted amazing, and the burrata toast which was everyone's favorite. I cannot wait to go back and try some of their sandwiches!
